Golden Cup is an internationally recognized standard defined by the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) for achieving optimal flavor balance in brewed coffee. It is based on two key measurements: Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Extraction Yield.The ideal range is 1.15–1.35% TDS and 18–22% extraction yield. Within this range, coffee achieves a harmonious balance of acidity, sweetness, and gentle body, delivering a smooth and well-rounded flavor profile.
